Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi says Gauteng is ready to host the G20 Leaders' Summit in Johannesburg later this month.
The Premier briefed the media on Tuesday – revealing a detailed plan to host the summit, including securing energy supply, cleaning and preparation of public spaces, the activation of a disaster management centre and the preparation of law enforcement.

The Linden Community Policing Forum is using art to spark positive change in their 16 Days of Activism campaign.
Residents are invited to create A5 artworks reflecting what they believe is important to protect, with submissions accepted online or at various drop-off points until November 24.
The campaign's theme, "Your creativity can spark and inspire change," aims to celebrate unity and hope through art.
The public will be able to view the collected artworks at the Cresta Shopping Centre’s public gallery from November 27-30 throughout the 16 Days of Activism.

The South African Depression and Anxiety Group (SADAG) is calling on South Africans to support their vital mental health services during Men's Mental Health Month.
SADAG's campaign aims to raise awareness and support for men's mental health, highlighting the struggles many men face in seeking help.
According to the organisation, about half of the calls received on their 24-hour helpline come from men who feel they cannot burden their families with their struggles.
SADAG's message of "You're not alone" brings relief to many callers, and the organisation urges South Africans to join their campaign and help keep the crisis lines open for those in need.
