Government says the momentum generated by South Africa’s G20 Presidency has provided a unique platform to showcase the country’s tourism offerings to thousands of international delegates.
More than 7.6-million international tourist arrivals were recorded between January and September this year.

The Linden Community Policing Forum is using art to spark positive change in their 16 Days of Activism campaign.
Residents are invited to create A5 artworks reflecting what they believe is important to protect, with submissions accepted online or at various drop-off points until November 24.
The campaign's theme, "Your creativity can spark and inspire change," aims to celebrate unity and hope through art.
The public will be able to view the collected artworks at the Cresta Shopping Centre’s public gallery from November 27-30 throughout the 16 Days of Activism.

Shoprite's Act for Change empowers communities through sustainable food gardening

The Act for Change programme, an initiative by Shoprite, is empowering communities across South Africa by promoting sustainable food gardening, providing agricultural training, and strengthening local networks.
The initiative, which supports nearly 300 gardens across the country, has yielded over 106,000kg of fresh produce in the past year alone.
The programme not only provides nutritious food for local families but also creates opportunities for them to earn an income by selling surplus crops.
To further incentivize community-led gardening projects, Shoprite's Act for Change Food Garden competition rewards top-performing gardens with support of up to R225,000, to enables local farmers to build sustainable livelihoods and drive community growth.
