The Johannesburg City Parks and Zoo is partnering with the Fourways Improvement District to host a tree-planting event in Johannesburg.
The event, themed "Planting 3000 Trees in Just One Hour," will take place next week Tuesday, from 9-am to 12-pm.
Residents are invited to join JCPZ at Winnie Mandela Drive, stretching from Uranium to Summit Road, to be part of this community-driven initiative.

The City of Cape Town’s corps of Disaster Risk Management volunteers showcased their skills at this year’s Disaster Risk Management Annual First Aid and Firefighting Competition.
Twenty-six teams were vying for top honours, 12 participating in the firefighting competition, and 14 in the first aid competition.

According to the organisation, about half of the calls received on their 24-hour helpline come from men who feel they cannot burden their families with their struggles.
