WarmFees Blanket Drive Warms West Rand Community

WarmFees recently held its first Winter Knights blanket drive in the West Rand, gathering 667 blankets for the homeless and animal shelters.
The free event at Berlin Bear featured live music from Martin Bester, with surprise performances by Prime Circle and The Parlotones, bringing the community together for a heartfelt cause.
Organised by Round Table North Ridge 117 with Berlin Bear and supported by Jacaranda FM, the drive received strong community support.
Wynand Warren, chairperson of Round Table 117, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming response and confirmed more blanket drives are planned.

South African gymnast Caitlin Rooskrantz has graduated from the University of Johannesburg with a BCom in Marketing Management.
Known for representing South Africa at the 2024 Paris Olympics and serving as one of Team SA’s flag bearers, Caitlin balanced intense training with her academic workload.
Her dedication included early morning gym sessions, full days of classes, and evening training, all carefully scheduled alongside university commitments and travel for competitions.
Following graduation, she’s taking time to gain practical experience in marketing before pursuing postgraduate studies.
Caitlin aims to use her education to empower young athletes, particularly in minority sports, to build their personal brands and create meaningful opportunities beyond competition
