The Urban Management directorate in partnership with the University of Johannesburg hosted a Youth Month celebration on Monday the 30th of June.
The event aimed to inspire young people to take an active role in driving positive change, encourage a sense of responsibility and recognise their achievements and potential.
The celebration focused on equipping youth with the necessary skills needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving economy, Held under the theme “Skills for the Changing World – Empowering Youth for Meaningful Economic Participation".
Presentations were delivered by various experts on topics such as research and technology opportunities to promote innovation and economic participation.
