Secret Sunrise Durban will host a Valentine’s Day puppy yoga fundraiser at Sugar Rush Park in Ballito to support the SAFE Network.
Participants will take part in a guided silent yoga session while interacting with rescue puppies, with proceeds funding food, veterinary care and shelter operations.
SAFE Network rescues and rehomes abandoned dogs and runs sterilisation and vaccination programmes in the Ballito area.
The event supports an organisation caring for over 150 dogs with urgent vet costs.

Bloem schools get sports boost

Learners from Credence and Heide Primary Schools in Bloemfontein, will benefit from new sports facilities and table tennis equipment to expand access to school sport.
The equipment was handed over by the Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture, Gayton McKenzie, as part of a youth sport development programme.
The donation, supported by the People’s Republic of China in partnership with MultiChoice and the South African Table Tennis Federation, allows learners to train, practice regularly, and take part in organised sporting activities at school.

Final T20 between Proteas Women and Pakistan to be held in Benoni

Benoni, on Gauteng's East Rand will host the final T20 between the Proteas Women and Pakistan on the 16th.
The match was initially to be played in Kimberley, however the Northern Cape capital’s venue did not meet the required international norms and standards for match readiness.
The tour gets underway on 10 February when the Proteas Women host Pakistan at the JB Marks Oval in Potchefstroom.
The second and third T20 Internationals will both be played in Benoni.
