Johannesburg Ombudsman Clinics Bring Solutions to Local Communities
Story 1

The Office of the Ombudsman for the City of Johannesburg will roll out its annual citizen information clinics across the city from February to March 2026 under the theme “Working together to deliver real solutions.”
The clinics bring services directly into communities, giving residents an accessible platform to raise concerns and seek resolution. The initiative builds on previous successes, with past complaints leading to tangible improvements, including safety and health interventions in Protea Glen.
Ombudsman Advocate Siduduzo Gumede said the clinics demonstrate the impact of cooperative governance and ensure that community voices are heard, connecting issues raised to real-time solutions. Residents attending the clinics can get assistance with municipal accounts, service queries, and updates on pending complaints.
