Pimville community supports children in Soweto

Okuhle Fast Foods and Pimville residents donated essential items and meals to children at Khayalethu Kliptown Crisis Centre in Soweto.
Residents and local businesses contributed items including sanitary towels and toiletries during a charity drive in Pimville Zone 5.
The donations were handed over on August 31, with Okuhle Fast Foods also serving the children and staff a warm meal.
The centre supports about 350 children from Kliptown, Pimville and Eldorado Park each day.

The festival will take place from the 9 to the 13th of December.

Learners and teachers at Hoër Meisieskool Bloemhof raised the money through classroom challenges and a pink-themed fundraising day.
The money will go to Project Flamingo, which helps patients access breast cancer treatment.
