Gauteng Gears Up for Green Talks

Gauteng’s MEC for Environment, Shyla Peters, will host a high-level industry roundtable tomorrow to mark World Environment Day and strengthen efforts toward environmental sustainability in the province.
The event will take place at the Maropeng Interpretation Centre in Mogale City and will bring together business leaders and government officials to discuss ways to reduce waste, support recycling businesses, and improve green infrastructure.
The roundtable will also focus on fighting climate change, promoting job creation in the green sector, and building partnerships that protect the environment while boosting the economy.
This forms part of the province’s plan to work closely with industries and communities for a cleaner, greener Gauteng.
