The festival, themed “Nothing about us without us,” provided a powerful platform for persons with disabilities to showcase their artistic talents and advocate for greater visibility and inclusion.

Director in the Disability Branch of the Department for Women, Children and Persons with Disabilities, Benny Palime, says the event not only celebrated artistic excellence but also underscored the need for continued support and recognition of persons with disabilities in cultural spaces.

Bolt Invests over R400 00 to support emerging entrepreneurs

E-hailing company Bolt says it has concluded its first Accelerator Program in South Africa, awarding over R400 000in funding to ten participants.

Bolt said the initiative marked a significant step in the company's efforts to support entrepreneurial growth within its driver and courier community.

The program involved 578 initial applications, with 120 candidates participating in a business boot camp.
Each finalist will also participate in six weeks of additional mentorship to further develop their ventures.
