Wits Business School's Shoe Donation Campaign a Huge Success

A shoe donation campaign launched by the Wits Business School's Sustainability Committee has exceeded expectations collecting nearly 600-pairs of school shoes for children in need.
The "Walk a Child to School" campaign, which started with a goal of 300 pairs gained momentum after MBA students and staff rallied behind the cause.
Last month the shoes were handed over to learners at Mid-Ennerdale Primary School in a special ceremony attended by representatives from the Gauteng Education Department and Wits Business School officials.
The event featured school choir performances and heartfelt gratitude from the school and local officials.
