Primary school learners in Ekurhuleni now have the opportunity to showcase their drawing skills by entering a competition focused on energy efficiency and renewable energy.
The initiative allows children to express their own ideas through freehand artwork, without help from adults or the use of AI.
Entries opened on 1 February and will close on 6 March, with prizes totalling R20 000 available for learners and their schools.
The competition encourages creativity while helping young learners understand how to save energy.

The first annual – Saddle Up – was hosted across provinces on Sunday in honour of World Cancer Day.
The first annual Saddle Up ride took place across Johannesburg, Pretoria and Cape Town on Sunday to mark World Cancer Day.
Riders, motorcycle clubs, friends and families dressed in costumes and rode in convoys to honour cancer survivors and those lost to the disease.
The event raised awareness about cancer and celebrated community and resilience.
Non-Profit Organisation, Cancervive says as the global community observes World Cancer Day today, the organisation continues to educate and inspire people through experiences that encourage collective action against cancer.
