South Africans Raise R400,000 to Honour David Sejobe
Story 1
South Africans have rallied to honour David Sejobe, a security guard at MultiChoice in Randburg, whose daily kindness touched thousands. David passed away last Friday, and a crowdfunding campaign meant to raise R20,000 for his family has reached R400,000 as of today, Wednesday.
People gathered outside the MultiChoice offices, leaving flowers and candles, while passing motorists honked in tribute. A billboard on Bram Fischer Drive also commemorates his life.
Though not famous, David’s consistent warmth inspired messages of gratitude from colleagues and strangers alike.
