The Africa Rally 2026 has raised more than R1.1 million for 22 charities across southern Africa.
All teams completed the 6,000-kilometre journey, marking the first year that every team reached the finish line.
The funds will support projects in wildlife conservation, education, healthcare, and community development.
Organisers say interest is already growing for the 2027 rally, with about 60% of team spaces filled.

The Mpumalanga government has opened the Lucky Dube Secondary School of Performing Arts in Ermelo, the province's first no-fee public secondary school dedicated to performing arts.
The school will provide free training in music, dance, drama and other creative disciplines for young people.
Named after the late musician Lucky Dube, the school aims to help learners develop creative skills and prepare for careers in the arts.
