Chef Donaldson Madubela Flying SA's flag on the global stage

Executive Chef Donaldson Madubela, of NH Sandton’s Tradewinds Restaurant, is preparing to represent South Africa and the African continent, at the 2025 Global Chef Competition Senior Semi-Finals in the United Arab Emirates.

Madubela will join two other top chefs from the continent, who will be representing Namibia and Morocco, to showcase Africa’s rich culinary heritage.

The Chef explained that his passion for food which began in his childhood, was inspired by his father, and has since grown into a celebrated career.

With over 15 years of culinary excellence Madubela’s selection is a proud moment for Sandton and the African continent as a whole.

Limpopo tourism launches its winter campaign

In a bid to encourage tourism in the province, the Limpopo Tourism Agency, has unveiled its winter campaign to showcase tourism offerings during its warmer winter climate.

The purpose of the event will be to position thecLimpopo Province as a leading tourist destination in Southern Africa, to increase brand equity and awareness and to establish strategic business partnerships with tourism players in the province.

Tourists who visit camps including Mopani in the Kruger National Park from places as far as the Western Cape get to enjoy nature while also experiencing a warmer climate.

Limpopo is one of the warmest regions in South Africa with an average daily high temperature of 26 degrees during the winter season.
