The No Mercy Series: Boxing for a Change featured close to 50 boxers competing across multiple matches in a day-long showcase of emerging talent.
Organisers say the event also raises funds to support fighters who lack resources, helping them train in safer conditions.
The initiative has already produced results, with Vuyo Radebe and Andre Malumba moving from amateur contests into the professional ranks.

New Football field gives Moduane Youth a place to play

Hundreds of young people in Moduane Village, Limpopo, now have a place to play football after a new community field was handed over.
Built by MultiChoice and the Solly Malatsi Legacy Foundation, the site includes changing rooms, a grass pitch and basic services, turning an unused school ground into a working facility.
Local school teams marked the opening with matches, with players receiving kits and winners taking home trophies and training equipment.
The field will host an annual tournament for more than 600 players, giving rural youth a chance to compete and be seen.
