Electricity and Energy Minister Dr. Kgosientsho Ramokgopa has emphasized that energy transitions must be fair for everyone ensuring that no one is left behind.
Yesterday the Energy Department convened the third G20 Energy Transitions Working Group meeting in Sun City in the North West.
The three-day meeting will see collaborations and knowledge sharing amongst global stakeholders about the role of nuclear energy, as the world tries to mitigate the effects of climate change.
Ramokgopa called for a fundamental overhaul of the global energy finance system to support vulnerable communities and developing economies:

This iconic charitable draw aims to fulfill the dreams of children facing life-threatening illnesses.
For 37 years, Reach For A Dream has been bringing joy, hope, and inspiration to young patients and their families across South Africa.
Tickets for the Dream Raffle are R200 each, with only 10,000 available exclusively at www.dreamraffle.co.za.
The draw will take place on 15 December 2025, or two weeks after the last ticket sale, with all proceeds supporting Reach For A Dream's mission to fulfill dreams for children with life-threatening illnesses.
