More than 6.5 million international tourists visited South Africa in the first seven months of 2026.
Tourist arrivals rose by 12.4 percent compared with the same period last year.
Arrivals from other African countries increased by 14.3 percent, while overseas arrivals rose by 5.7 percent.
The growth is supporting tourism businesses and jobs across accommodation, hospitality, transport and attractions.
