Gauteng has reached a new digital transformation milestone, with more than 1 200 government, healthcare and school sites now connected to the Gauteng Provincial Network.
The province has also developed 59 online government services, while more than 25 000 people have benefited from digital skills, youth technology and innovation programmes.

The 86 year old has enjoyed a career spanning 69 years, performing on stages in South Africa and abroad and contributing to music, theatre and television.

Elderly residents at Kruinhof Retirement Village received knitted blankets, beanies and scarves to help keep them warm during the final days of winter.
The donation was made possible by New Life Unity Church in Edenvale, whose members used their time and knitting skills to create the winter items.
The initiative forms part of wider efforts by Rest-a-While to support older people by providing care, assistance and opportunities to socialise.
