The 86 year old has enjoyed a career spanning 69 years, performing on stages in South Africa and abroad and contributing to music, theatre and television.

A Greenfields man in East London is preparing to walk 831 kilometres to Ngcobo in the Eastern Cape to raise funds to build a handwork skills centre.
Zama Nobevu, founder of the Pariio Foundation, will begin the solo walk on November 1.
The centre has not yet been built, but aims to equip young people and adults with practical skills to start businesses and create employment opportunities.
The foundation has already trained 120 young people and adults through its community skills programme.
