Gauteng has reached a new digital transformation milestone, with more than 1 200 government, healthcare and school sites now connected to the Gauteng Provincial Network.
The province has also developed 59 online government services, while more than 25 000 people have benefited from digital skills, youth technology and innovation programmes.

Matla A Bana has received a donation of handmade items from the Dutch Reformed Church of Bloubergstrand to help support vulnerable children.
The donation includes knitted beanies, jerseys, headbands, worry worms, teddy bears, sensory toys and sanitary towel pouches.
The items will be included in comfort packs given to children who have experienced abuse, providing practical essentials and something comforting during a difficult time.

The programme featured aerobatic performances, historic aircraft and formation flying, while visitors could also view aircraft on the ground and learn more about aviation careers.
The event attracted large crowds and gave local businesses an opportunity to benefit from increased activity in the area.
