Sandton SPCA Launches Fundraising Calendar

The Sandton SPCA has launched its 2027 calendar to raise funds for animal welfare and expand its outreach work.
The calendar was unveiled at a fashion show at Bryanston Country Club on August 27, featuring rescued animals and volunteers.
The organisation raised R560,000 from last year’s calendar and is targeting R750,000 this year.
The SPCA also plans to carry out 4,000 free pet sterilisations in communities to reduce the number of unwanted animals.

Legendary Women in the Arts forms part of the national commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the 1956 Women’s March.
The exhibition features the work of artists and storytellers including Esther Mahlangu, Noria Mabasa, Helen Sebidi and Gcina Mhlophe.
