Drakensberg Boys Choir Takes Music Across Southern Africa

The Drakensberg Boys Choir is taking its music across Southern Africa on a 10 day tour through Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
The tour began in Gaborone on 26 September, followed by performances in Lusaka, Harare, Bulawayo and Victoria Falls.
The programme features classical and contemporary music, as well as African choral and South African indigenous repertoire.
Choir master Jacques Linde says the tour is about creating opportunities for cultural exchange with schools and young musicians in neighbouring countries.

The Future Economy and Career Expo brought Grade 11 and 12 learners together with universities, TVET colleges and industry leaders at the University of Johannesburg Business School.
Learners explored opportunities in artificial intelligence, fintech, engineering, manufacturing, logistics and entrepreneurship, while getting information on study programmes, bursaries and internships.
The expo also gave young people a chance to ask questions about admission requirements and the skills needed for changing careers.
