500 Young South Africans embark on life-changing studies in China

A group of young South Africans has arrived in China to begin their studies through a fully funded scholarship programme led by Inseta and LGSETA ---in partnership with the Chinese Culture International Education Exchange.
The programme, aims to empower 500-young South Africans with globally relevant qualifications in critical fields such as engineering, artificial intelligence, and e-commerce.
The students, selected from all nine provinces, were given a send-off at Inseta's head office in Illovo on September 16, before departing for China on September 17.
Inseta CEO Gugu Mkhize has praised the students and the collaborative effort, saying the programme gives young matriculants a chance to pursue their dreams.

The ambassadorship will see Radebe represent Leeds in official capacities, strengthening ties between the club and its global fan base.

The singer and rapper, who has topped Spotify's most-streamed artist list in 3-of the past five years, will sing his hits on US TV's most-watched night in February.
He will follow in the footsteps of other recent half-time performers including Kendrick Lamar, Usher, Rihanna and The Weeknd.
