The Silverlakes Farm Hotel buzzed with flavour and fun as coffee lovers from across Tshwane gathered for the annual Coffee Festival on Saturday. Local roasters showcased their best beans in the Roasters Village, offering everything from rich espressos to silky cappuccinos.
Guests explored Brew and Sample bars, learning about different brewing methods while tasting a variety of blends.
The festival also featured artisanal food, gelato, craft beer, wine, and live entertainment, creating a full day of indulgence.
Visitors left inspired by the range of coffee experiences, with organisers celebrating the event as a space for discovery, enjoyment, and connecting the community over a shared love of coffee.

British-born Somali footballer Iqra Ismail is making space for underrepresented players in football. She is a player, coach, and campaigner for inclusion in the sport.
At 25, She has captained the Somalia national team and led diversity initiatives at London’s Hilltop Football Club, welcoming Muslim women and others who face barriers.
She is now the Female Refugee Football Project Coordinator for QPR In The Community Trust, helping young people play and thrive.
