A CT scan was used to create a 3D model, and a custom titanium plate was printed to reconstruct and protect her skull.
The delicate surgery relieved pressure on her brain, and she spent two weeks in intensive care before returning home. With careful monitoring and physiotherapy, Popcorn has now returned to her playful, bright self.
The operation demonstrates the skill and dedication of the Onderstepoort Veterinary Academic Hospital team in combining advanced technology with expert care to give pets a second chance.
