Hoërskool Randburg Shines with Magical Pantomime During Theatre Week
Story 3
Hoërskool Randburg learners brought magic to the stage during their theatre week from May 14 to 17, with sold-out performances of their bi-annual pantomime, Everything in Wonderland.
Over 90 actors and 30 technicians worked together to deliver a show full of twists, laughter, and excitement.
The story follows Alles, who disappears into a magical Wonderland where she is engaged to Prince Sjarmant.
Auditions were held late last year, with three months of rehearsals leading up to the performances.
The school says the pantomime teaches valuable lessons like teamwork, perseverance, and that everyone has a role to play — all while reminding audiences that no matter how different you are, you can find a place to belong.
