The programme provides free multilingual stories, reading resources and simple activities such as storytelling, shared reading and songs to support literacy at home.
Nal'ibali says the initiative helps children continue learning while schools are closed.
The organisation also aims to make reading a daily family habit and strengthen children's literacy skills beyond the classroom.

Keep Cape Town warm exceeds winter drive goals

The Keep Cape Town Warm campaign has raised R310,000 and collected more than 3,000 blankets and over 12,000 food items after an eight-week drive in Cape Town.
Residents, schools, businesses and community partners joined forces to support vulnerable families during winter.
Donations were distributed throughout the campaign to help vulnerable families and shelters before the coldest part of winter.
The funds will be used to buy more blankets, food and essential supplies, while part of the proceeds will support community upliftment programmes across the city.
