A non profit organisation in Ferndale, Hades Thrift Shop is creating more than just a shopping experience. It is building a community of care.

Named after Fernandes’ dog Hades, the store stands for kindness and giving back.
Despite challenges and slow foot traffic, the team remains determined, using occasions like Mandela Day to give back to those in need.

Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo have signed a peace deal in Washington to end deadly conflict in the eastern DRC.
