Gauteng residents are urged to prepare for a 19-day water maintenance schedule which is expected to commence on Monday the 30th of June and will continue until Thursday the 18th of July.

The planned work aims to upgrade key infrastructure but could lead to water supply interruptions in several areas.
Rand Water says the maintenance will be carried out in phases and will not involve a continuous 19-day shutdown.

Residents across Johannesburg, Tshwane, Ekurhuleni and several other municipalities have been advised to prepare for possible low water pressure or complete supply interruptions during the maintenance period.
