Meyersdal Clinic Helps 25 Patients Hear

The Ear & Eye Clinic in Meyersdal has partnered with Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital, AboutSound and Good Morning Angels to provide cochlear implant surgeries for 25 patients.
The project started with three surgeries on July 23 and will continue with three operations each month.
The clinic is providing theatre facilities, equipment and specialist surgeons at a reduced cost to help clear the public hospital waiting list.
The partnership also aims to restore hearing sooner and train more cochlear implant surgeons.
