The Eskom Expo for Young Scientists is underway nationwide, with regional fairs in 35 areas showcasing learners’ talent in science, technology, engineering, maths and innovation.
The Gauteng South Regional Science Fair recently hosted close to 200 innovative projects at the University of Johannesburg's Soweto campus.
Over 6-thousand projects will be showcased nationwide, exploring vital topics such as sustainable environment, medical technology and robotics.
Winners will advance to the Eskom Expo International Science Fair in October, with opportunities for bursaries and international exposure.
Eskom CEO Mologadi Motshele has highlighted the role of initiatives like the Eskom Expo in shaping the country's future problem-solvers.
