South African music duo Major League DJz have partnered with Shoprite and the Major League Continuity Fund to support over 1,500 learners in Soweto.
On 21 January, they delivered essential back to school supplies including crayons, pens, exercise books, highlighters, rulers and pencils to Lejoeleputswa Primary and Meadowlands Secondary Schools.
The initiative helps under-resourced schools give learners the tools they need to focus on their studies and start the year prepared.

Springbok Cheslin Kolbe is giving back through his foundation, supporting nearly 3,000 learners across the Western Cape each year.

Many of the schools are in communities like Kolbe’s hometown of Kraaifontein, where educators say learners are developing new skills and stepping into leadership roles.

LIV Golf Hits African Shores for First Time

The four day event will feature top international golfers competing alongside a festival style entertainment lineup, including performances by Calvin Harris, Black Coffee, and Goldfish.
South African professional golfer Dean Burmester says it’s always special to compete at home and he’s looking forward to playing in front of local fans, friends, and family.
Organisers say the tournament will bring world class sport and live music to South Africa, highlighting the country as a global destination for major events.
