Government Pushes for Energy Efficiency through Green Skills Development

Electricity and Energy Deputy Minister Samantha Graham-Maré has called on entities to participate in the Energy Performance Certificates Skills Development Programme that will not only provide job opportunities for young people but also help large buildings become energy efficient.
By hosting graduates with green skills, entities will have immediate access to resources that can assist in evaluating and improving the energy efficiency of their buildings.
This initiative aims to support the country's target of 60,000 Energy Performance Certificate registrations, with graduates deployed across the country.
The Minister says the programme will equip graduates with data analysis skills and boost the creation of green jobs:
