A school community in Stellenbosch has raised R50,000 to support breast cancer patients in the public healthcare system.
Learners and teachers at Hoër Meisieskool Bloemhof raised the money through classroom challenges and a pink-themed fundraising day.
The money will go to Project Flamingo, which helps patients access breast cancer treatment.
The campaign brought the school community together while raising funds for women who need care.
