Gauteng Government launches Nasi iSpani Reloaded

The Gauteng Government will launch the Nasi iSpani Reloaded mass skills development programme, aimed at bridging the skills gap between Gauteng's workforce and labor market demands.
In its current phase, the programme, which will be launched on Saturday will enroll youth in training across 71 technical schools, where they will receive practical training in key technical subjects to enhance their employability and economic participation.
The programme seeks to prepare young people for immediate job opportunities and tackle the province's G13 challenges which include water shortages, cable theft and vandalism, non-functional traffic lights and potholes.
Today Premier Panyaza Lesufi will hold a media briefing to outline how the programme forms part of Gauteng's broader commitment to tackling youth unemployment and driving inclusive economic growth.
