Machine translations are being tested against professional human translators, highlighting disparities between languages with abundant digital resources and those with fewer texts.

Stellenbosch Runner Tackles 130km to Support Young Girls
Story 2
A man from Stellenbosch has gone the extra mile to support young girls in need of sanitary pads. Keith Present ran from Stellenbosch to Robertson over the weekend, covering more than 130 kilometres to raise funds and awareness.
He began the journey with his cousin, but had to complete the final stretch alone after an injury.
Despite the physical and emotional challenge, Present crossed the finish line and inspired a surge of donations, including sanitary pads and money.
The campaign aims to supply up to 50 schools in Stellenbosch, Cloetesville and surrounding areas.
Present says the initiative will continue, offering young girls a safe way to access pads and helping to break the stigma around menstruation.
