Joburg is considered the world's largest human-made forest with 3.2 million trees, but faces challenges from illegal tree cutting and an ageing tree canopy.
Meanwhile, residents are encouraged to report emergency fallen trees or branches to the City's call center.

Resident Naledi Khumalo has expressed optimism about working together to find solutions also appreciating the opportunity to explore different security options and choose what works best for residents.
A key part of the presentation was the unveiling of three detailed security packages tailored for the community which consist of boom gates, Vuma cameras and CPF support amongst others.
