New R28 Million digital hub launched in Soweto

A state-of-the-art digital hub has been launched at the South West Gauteng College in Soweto, with the goal of preparing students for careers in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
The R28 million project, will train 800 learners over the next 2-years in fields such as cybersecurity, coding, and AI.
The initiative also aims to upskill 60 lecturers, enabling them to deliver courses both online and in-person, and bridging the digital divide in township communities.
