Acclaimed musician and author Billy Monama says South Africa’s healing may lie in music, as he introduces his upcoming production *Rebirth of Ubuntu*.He describes the show as more than a concert, calling it a response to deep social divisions in the country and a call for national unity through the arts. Framed under the 2026 theme “50 Years of Youth Legacy,” the production pays tribute to the generation of 1976 and is positioned as an effort toward “social repair” rather than entertainment.The performances at Joburg Theatre will feature a 20-piece orchestra under the guidance of Joe Arthur, providing the backdrop for a series of high-profile tributes.

Anande Kuse has graduated from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology with an Advanced Diploma in Film Production, while also excelling in sport and building a growing career in film.Raised in Nyanga in the western cape, she discovered table tennis through a school programme and went on to represent South Africa at the ITTF African Youth Championships in Tunisia. She also won two bronze medals at the USSA Table Tennis Championships. Alongside her sporting achievements, Kuse has been developing her film career. She worked as a stunt performer in Cape Town last March on the Hollywood production Children of Blood and Bone, which is set for release in 2027 and features actors such as Damson Idris, Viola Davis, and Idris Elba.

The Garden Route in the Western and Eastern Cape has been ranked the world’s best road trip in a global study by Autotrader. The route which assessed in scenery, road quality, weather, and overall driving experience. South African National Parks spokesperson JP Louw says the route includes the Wilderness, Knysna, and Tsitsikamma sections of the Garden Route National Park, offering forests, rivers, coastlines, and rich wildlife.Visitors can also enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, canoeing, and coastal walks along one of South Africa’s most scenic stretches.
