Province Launches Joint Crackdown on Lawlessness
Story 1
The Gauteng Provincial Government will launch an Integrated Provincial Service Delivery Operation in the City of Ekurhuleni tomorrow.

This is part of its ongoing campaign to curb crime and improve essential services in high-priority areas.

The initiative is a direct response to growing concerns around lawlessness, vandalism, and inadequate service delivery in parts of the province.

It follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on 15th of April 2025, aimed at enhancing cross-boundary law enforcement cooperation.

The operation is being carried out in partnership with the South African Police Service, Metropolitan Municipal Police Departments and both local and district municipalities.

It will focus on key issues such as crime prevention, road maintenance, waste management, and compliance enforcement.

Diesel Price Set to Drop Over 30 Cents
Story 2
Good news for South African drivers this June, fuel prices are set to drop slightly from Tommorrow.
According to the Central Energy Fund, petrol may go down by a few cents, while diesel users could enjoy a bigger cut of over 30 cents per litre.
This comes as a small win for motorists across the country, offering some relief at the pumps just in time for winter travels.
However, Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana's recent announcement of a higher fuel levy means the savings may not stretch far.
