Cape Town will host the One Young World Summit from 3 to 6 November 2026, bringing together more than 2,000 young leaders from over 190 countries in what is expected to be the largest internationally attended event ever held on the African continent.The summit has been recognised by the Presidency as part of South Africa's 50-year commemoration of the Soweto Uprising and its National Youth Day programme, which focuses on empowering the next generation of leaders.To ensure strong local participation, One Young World and its partners have committed more than 10 million rand in bursaries, corporate talent programmes and community initiatives to help hundreds of young South Africans attend the summit.
