Scholarship Opens Doors for Young Entrepreneurs

The Allan Gray Orbis Foundation has opened applications for its High School Scholarship Programme for qualified Grade 6 learners across South Africa. The scholarship supports academically strong learners with leadership potential and financial need by covering tuition, boarding, a monthly allowance and extracurricular activities. Recipients also take part in a long-term entrepreneurial development programme that builds leadership, confidence and problem-solving skills. Applications close on 15 September.

The Springboks are stepping up preparations for tommorows Nations Championship opener against England at Ellis Park in Johannesburg.Coach Rassie Erasmus has named a 46-man squad featuring six uncapped players, giving several rising stars the chance to make their Test debut.The squad combines experienced internationals with emerging talent as South Africa begins its campaign against England on 4 July. KZN Teen Earns Second SA Water Polo Call-Up

Fifteen-year-old London Remley from Durban has been selected to represent South Africa at the World Aquatics Women's U16 Water Polo Championships in, Croatia, later this month. It is the second time she has earned national colours after years of balancing intensive training with her studies at Reddam House Umhlanga. London has represented KwaZulu-Natal since the age of 11, winning multiple provincial medals and being named U14 Water Polo Player of the Year in 2024.
