Repairs On B7 Leak Pipeline Complete

Rand Water has announced the completion of repairs on the B7 leak pipeline.
Yesterday the bulk water supplier also stated that it expects the Eikenhof pump station to operate at 100% following the work.
Affected Johannesburg water systems include, Soweto, Randburg, Roodepoort, Lenasia, Crown Gardens and the Commando system.
At the same time the utility announced that the Zuikerbosch Leak Repairs project was complete.

China Testing High-Tech Drones That Can Create Rain

China is testing a new method to help relieve shortage of water in the dry Xinjiang region by using drones for cloud seeding.
Cloud seeding involves spreading substances in the sky to encourage rain.
This marks the first time such technology is being used in the area with the TB-A drone.
These tests are part of a larger plan to scale weather control across the country by late 2025, aiming to support agriculture.
