As the world's premier forum for international economic cooperation the gathering brings together some of the world's biggest economies with South Africa standing not just as host, but as the only African country in the group and a voice alongside the African Union.

SAPS launches first ever E-Recruitment Drive for Trainee Positions

The South African Police Service has officially launched its first-ever e-Recruitment drive, aiming to fill 5,500 police trainee positions across the country.

The online application window is now open and will run until the 18th of July.
SAPS spokesperson Amanda van Wyk said this new digital platform is designed to streamline the application process, allowing aspiring police officers to apply more easily and efficiently.

Qualifying young men and women without criminal records and/or pending criminal cases are encouraged to apply by visiting the e-Recruitment portal.

Basic Education Department hosts 3rd meeting of G20 Education Working group

The G20 Education Working Group, in partnership with the United Nations Girls’ Education Initiative, hosted a high-level seminar at the Durban International Convention Centre in KwaZulu-Natal, that aims to advance gender transformation Education.

The event served as a key platform for dialogue and policy exchange ahead of the third and final meeting of the Education Working Group, which concludes today.

This collaborative seminar brought together education policymakers, gender advocates and civil society leaders from across the G20 member states and beyond.
