South African artistic gymnastics celebrated a major achievement as Jana van Staden claimed silver in the floor event at the Vera Čáslavská Grand Prix in Brno, Czech Republic.
Alongside teammate Zia Davids, Jana competed against some of the world’s top young gymnasts, supported by Team SA coaches and judges.
Her polished routine in the floor final secured the podium finish and brought home a memorable result for the country.

Siemens Unveils High-Speed Trains as Egypt Modernises Rail

Egypt has taken a big step in upgrading its rail network with Siemens Mobility revealing its new Velaro high-speed trains, capable of 250 km/h.
Forty-one trains will run on the country’s 2,000-kilometre high-speed network, cutting travel times by up to half and connecting most major cities.
Siemens also completed the first test run of its Desiro regional train near the new 6th of October dry port, with officials calling it a major moment in Egypt’s transport modernisation.
