Young footballers in Allandale, Midrand are gaining skills, discipline and confidence through a grassroots programme led by coach Tefo Mollo.
The Allandale Ext 1 FC coach trains U11 and U13 players, using football to create a safe space where children learn teamwork and commitment.
Since 2017, Mollo has helped develop young players while building opportunities for children to stay involved in sport.
The club is now seeking equipment and support to expand the programme and reach more young footballers.

The event, presented by The Windybrow Arts Centre and Shade, will bring together artists and community organisations for a celebration of movement, creativity and public spaces.
The parade will leave from The Windybrow Arts Centre and move through Hillbrow under the theme “Arise”, highlighting the right of communities to gather and be seen.
