Juffrou Angelique van Biljon has already made quite a hit on the internet, with an impressive 381 thousand views. Her goal is to inspire a love for the Afrikaans language, no matter if it’s a home language or an additional language.

The Springbots South Africa Regional Robotics competition brought excitement and innovation to Lawson Brown High School in the Eastern Cape yesterday, as learners showcased their skills in a thrilling display of teamwork and digital literacy. The competition presented a learning platform where students discovered the joys of robotics, coding, and collaboration. Organizers highlighted the overwhelming demand for robotics programs, but noted that limited resources are preventing many eager learners from participating.

China launched the Tianwen-2 spacecraft yesterday on a Long March 3B rocket. The spacecraft will travel to an asteroid which is about 10 million miles away. Rock samples will be collected and sent back to Earth in 2027. China now joins Japan and the U.S. in collecting asteroid samples. Japan's first mission was in 2010 and 2019, while the U.S. followed in 2020. The target asteroid, Kamoʻoalewa, has been moving around the sun near Earth for about 100 years and is between 40 to 100 meters in size.
