The City of Ekurhuleni is implementing measures to address a planned water outage due to Rand Water's maintenance operations. The maintenance is scheduled for the 29th of May to the 2nd of June, causing water supply interruptions in various areas in Ekurhuleni. The City says it will be deploying water tankers to the affected areas during the five-day project. Rand water says the maintenance aims to achieve improved plant availability, reliability and efficiency. Residents are urged to store water for domestic use and to use water sparingly.

Rising South African singer and songwriter Lusanda is the first-ever female South African artist to be featured on the Spotify Single Programme for her cover of Mad World.Born in Durban and raised in Johannesburg, Lusanda originally planned to become a dancer. A classically trained ballerina since age five, she also played marimbas and sang in choirs. She later studied choreography at the University of Cape Town.Though music was always part of her life, it wasn’t until she began posting song covers on TikTok that her singing career took off.
