The City of Ekurhuleni is implementing measures to address a planned water outage due to Rand Water's maintenance operations. The maintenance is scheduled for the 29th of May to the 2nd of June, causing water supply interruptions in various areas in Ekurhuleni. The City says it will be deploying water tankers to the affected areas during the five-day project. Rand water says the maintenance aims to achieve improved plant availability, reliability and efficiency. Residents are urged to store water for domestic use and to use water sparingly.
