Content creator to climb Kilimanjaro for medical charity

Twenty three year old content creator Leonie Buchegger is partnering with the organisation Médecins Sans Frontières in an attempt to summit Mount Kilimanjaro between the 1st and 10th of July 2026.
The expedition aims to raise more than 180 thousand rand for the organisation’s global medical humanitarian work.
During the climb, Buchegger will share updates with her audience, documenting the physical and mental challenges of reaching Africa’s highest peak while drawing attention to the healthcare needs that inspired the campaign.

Bottle top drive turns waste into wheelchairs for those in need

The Trust says the attention has helped introduce millions of new followers to its wildlife rescue and rehabilitation work, which includes caring for orphaned elephants, giraffes and other vulnerable animals.
Bumpy’s story has since helped raise awareness about wildlife conservation efforts across Africa and the importance of protecting orphaned animals.
